How to promote healthy trees in the landscape

Louie Gamino is an ISA Certified Arborist. He has been working in the green industry for over 25 years. He helps operate a full-service landscape company in the South Bay. The company believes in the use of sustainable construction practices. They design and install native pollinator gardens that include water features.
The topic will be "How to promote healthy trees in the landscape". During the presentation he will discuss proper tree pruning, when to prune, proper irrigation, soils, mulch, disease and pest control, pesticide use (is it ever ok?), choosing the right tree, and fruit trees that thrive in our area.
